Jimmy Ichihana is a magician based in central Florida, and his work centres on one of the oldest and most demanding branches of the art: sleight-of-hand magic with cards.
Card magic is best seen from a few inches away, and that is where Jimmy works — shuffling, cutting and revealing in the middle of a conversation, with the deck often in a guest's own hands. The tone is light rather than solemn, built to make guests laugh and smile as much as puzzle over what they have just seen, which makes it an easy fit for events where people gather in small groups.
