Built to help magic be found
Who runs FindMagic, why the directory exists, and how it serves fans, performers, and the art of magic.
What FindMagic is
FindMagic is an independent public directory of live magic shows, venues, and performers. It helps a fan discover what is playing, helps an event planner find a magician who fits the occasion and location, and gives performers a page they can control. FindMagic was built by magicians and people who believe this art deserves a better discovery system.
The directory combines public information from performers, venues, and ticket sellers with corrections and updates from the people listed. Dates are checked against their sources. A profile can include a biography, specialties, service area, official links, video, reviews, public shows, and a direct booking route.
Why it exists
Discovery is moving beyond a page of search results. People now ask assistants who is performing nearby, which magician suits a wedding, or what show to see while travelling. FindMagic gives people and software agents one structured, current place to understand those answers without forcing performers into a pay-to-rank marketplace.
Listings are free. FindMagic does not sell leads, take a commission, process bookings, or let payment change directory position. Enquiries go to the performer and the relationship remains theirs. A performer can claim and edit a page, report a mistake, or ask for removal. When a commercial decision is close, FindMagic favours the performer, the fan, and the growth of magic as an art.
