Public directory information

FindMagic publishes information relevant to discovering and booking magic: performer and act names, biographies, images, specialties, approximate service areas, official links, public videos, public show dates, venues, reviews, and booking routes. Much of this begins with public performer, venue, or ticketing sources. Performers can claim their pages, correct the information, choose whether to accept enquiries, or request removal.

FindMagic does not publish a performer’s private sign-in address. Booking contact details are shown or used only according to the performer’s settings. A known minor may display attributed public ratings and receive a spam-screened professional booking enquiry when a public booking destination is available; age does not turn that professional route into a personal contact channel.

Information you provide

If you claim a page, sign in, submit a correction, request a reminder, subscribe to city updates, review a show, or send a booking enquiry, FindMagic stores the information needed to provide that service and prevent abuse. This can include an email address, message, event details, profile edits, consent records, short-lived verification tokens, and security or delivery records. Booking enquiries are forwarded to the selected performer destination.

FindMagic uses passwordless sign-in and secure session cookies. Public forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse. When offered on an open-review form, Google Identity Services can confirm the account behind a review without proving attendance or creating a FindMagic profile. The server validates Google’s signed identity token, immediately retains only a salted hash of its opaque account identifier and the confirmation method, and does not store the token, Google email, name, picture, or an access token. Loading or using that control also makes a browser request to Google; email confirmation remains available.

Email is delivered through a specialist delivery provider, hosting and the database run on service providers, and Google Analytics may measure aggregate site use when configured. Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled. FindMagic does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Choices and requests

Emails include the relevant confirmation, preference, or unsubscribe controls. Browser settings can limit cookies, although sign-in will not work without its session cookie. Operational and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the service, accountability, fraud prevention, and legal obligations; public source and correction records may be kept so removed or disproved material is not automatically republished.
