At Koninklijk Theater Carré, Amsterdam. Wednesday, 31 March through Sunday, 11 April 2027; exact individual times are on the Carré ticket page. Carré is a general-purpose theatre and is therefore not classified as a qualifying magic venue.
Scott & Muriel are two charming yet comically inept characters: a way-too-enthusiastic assistant and her wonderfully clumsy magician, whose bickering and mishaps are woven into a funny story rather than strung together as tricks. In 2000 they won the FISM World Championships of Magic with the act that still forms the core of the show.
Audiences follow a storyline full of surprises, learning more about the couple's relationship with every passing moment, while illusions so clever and so impossible arrive that everyone in the room is left with the feeling of experiencing real magic. Built to play for 5 to 500 people and needing only three by three metres of flat ground, the act travels easily to galas, corporate events, festivals and private celebrations.
