Penn Jillette and Teller began busking on the streets of Philadelphia and now headline the longest-running resident act in Las Vegas history — their show at The Rio Hotel & Casino has nine wins as "Las Vegas Magicians of the Year" and was called "The single best show in Vegas" by the Los Angeles Times.
Penn & Teller mix magic, comedy and social commentary; the New York Times called their Off-Broadway debut "A witheringly funny…Brazen assault on the temple of magic". Their New York work has earned an Obie and a Lucille Lortel Award, while their television work has brought an Emmy, a Writers Guild Award and their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They play nearly 300 live shows a year, from the Sydney Opera House to London's Apollo Theatre.
