About Nick Stein

Nick Stein performs as The Crooked Croupier, a close-up magician whose immersive ‘Beat the Cheat’ experience combines captivating sleight-of-hand magic with a shady twist. He is a Member of The Magic Circle and an Associate Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star.

Guests find themselves inches from the cards as their inside man quietly rigs the evening in their favour, and the room fills with gasps of amazement and sidesplitting laughter. He works closely with event planners so that every set is tailored to the occasion, which makes the act a natural fit for drinks receptions, conference galas, corporate events, wedding receptions and exclusive private parties.

At The Vaults Theatre, London. 5 June–31 August 2026. Thursdays and Fridays 19:30; Saturdays 13:00, 17:00 and 20:30; Sundays 14:00 and 17:30. Running time approximately 110–115 minutes. Age guidance: 18+; Sunday matinee may admit ages 14–17 with prior approval. Rotating magician roster; not every listed magician appears at every performance. The production also uses actors Shea Wojtus, Garance Louis and Katie Tranter.
