Magician and mentalist Gary Ferrar presents Cloak & Mirrors, an often sold-out magic show in the historic Turnbull Townhouse — an intimate theatre hidden above the storefront of the shirt makers for the King of England.
His style is interactive and casual, with an emphasis on comedy. Strolling close-up work turns money, silverware, jewelry, playing cards and ice cubes into small impossibilities at arm's length, while his stage show feels intimate and improvised no matter the size of the crowd, favouring an illusion with a paper bag and a spectator's sport coat over mirrored boxes, with guests brought up to help throughout. Alongside national television appearances, he has performed at weddings, corporate holiday parties, product launches, birthdays, retirements, fundraisers and comedy clubs, and can also MC.
