Strolling close-up work turns money, silverware, jewelry, playing cards and ice cubes into small impossibilities at arm's length, while his stage show feels intimate and improvised no matter the size of the crowd, favouring an illusion with a paper bag and a spectator's sport coat over mirrored boxes, with guests brought up to help throughout.
