Ella Nicholson performs comedy-driven sleight of hand built on real psychology, building her own original effects from misdirection research that earned her an Excellence in STEM Award. She taught herself magic during lockdown after finding an old magic kit, and went on to perform on Penn & Teller: Fool Us in Las Vegas, in front of thousands of people and for Penn and Teller themselves.
Audiences meet a performer who enjoys being underestimated: close-up magic right in front of the eyes, and interactive stage work that turns a big room into one shared moment. Her videos have reached 50 million people online, and she has talked magic on RTÉ Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live. Based in Ireland and available worldwide, she suits corporate events, stage shows and close-up entertainment.
