Award-winning magician Alexander May took first place in the Stage Magic category at the South African Magic Championships, and his act mixes mind-boggling magic, original comedy and feats of the mind. Guests see money appearing out of thin air, a complete stranger's password revealed and solid steel bent — as he puts it, he doesn't just do tricks, he performs magic.
Based in Cape Town, Alexander has over 25 years of performances behind him, from New York, Paris and Las Vegas to Monaco, Los Angeles and Istanbul, and for audiences ranging from twenty people on a team-building yacht cruise to 2000 as an MC for multi-national companies and 2 million viewers live on national television. He suits conferences, fund-raisers, gala dinners and festivals, and can present in English or Afrikaans.
