Vinny DePonto

Vinny DePonto is a mentalist and mind reader based in New York City, whose psychological magic traces back to a dusty shoebox of 1940's tricks belonging to the grandfather he never met, Vincent DePonto. His Off-Broadway show Mindplay is built from the thoughts of the people in the room, and he has read Carson Daly's mind on TODAY, as well as playing the Geffen.

Rather than bravado, DePonto brings what one critic called a stage presence that "exudes compassionate sincerity" — intimate, rigorously executed work described as "delightful and terrifying to watch" and praised for leaving audiences "stunned, captivated, and moved". He is regularly hired for cocktail hours, private gatherings, dinner parties and corporate events, and occasionally speaks about the mind and its mysterious splendour.
