Tommy Wind
“American illusionist blending magic and rock music”
Based in Las Vegas
Biography
Tommy Wind is an American illusionist and Las Vegas headliner whose theatrical productions fuse large-scale stage illusions with rock-and-roll musicianship. Born in Staten Island, New York, Wind was introduced to magic at age seven when his grandfather taught him the vanishing hanky trick, sparking a lifelong dedication to the craft.
Demonstrating early mastery of both sleight of hand and grand illusion, Wind began performing professionally as a teenager. At age 19, he was awarded Teen Magician of the Year at the World Magic Awards. He went on to become one of the youngest magicians in history to headline an original production on the Las Vegas Strip, creating dynamic shows featuring live guitar, drums, and illusions including vanishing and appearing sports cars and helicopters.
A frequent television presence, Wind has appeared in over 25 episodes of The CW's Masters of Illusion, along with appearances on Criss Angel's Mindfreak and NBC. In 2016, he received the Merlin Award for Best Family Friendly Magic Show in the World from the International Magicians Society. Over his career, he has headlined residencies across Las Vegas—including the Tommy Wind Theater on the Strip and the Oyo Hotel & Casino—as well as touring engagements in Atlantic City and New York City.
