Tim Licata

Award-winning close-up magician and sleight-of-hand artist Tim Licata is known for his engaging style and astonishing presentation of classic close-up effects. Originally from Chicago and now based in Edinburgh, he works inches from his audience, where the impossible happens in guests' own hands.

Tim is resident magician at The Joker & The Thief on Leith Walk, the only pub in Edinburgh with a house magician, performing table to table every Thursday evening from 8pm, and he appears at Hectors in Stockbridge on the last Thursday of every month. Beyond the pubs and restaurants, he is an accomplished wedding magician, delighting guests at drinks receptions or as after-dinner entertainment, and performs at corporate and private parties throughout Scotland.
