Tim Hoffman

Improv magician and comedian Tim Hoffman, who performs as The Great & Powerful Tim, builds full-length shows that fuse mentalism, improv comedy and scripted storytelling, with audience participation and multimedia running through every scene. His influences are Derren Brown and Penn & Teller, and his routines lean on originality and surprise.

His award-winning, sold-out 2023 tour ran 48 shows across seven North American cities, and he has written, produced and starred in shows at festivals and conventions in Toronto, Orlando, Tampa Bay, San Jose, Edmonton, San Francisco, Indianapolis and Los Angeles. Trained at SAK Comedy Lab and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, he has played corporate events of 1000+ seats, college audiences and sold-out theatres in the US and Canada. Tim is a member of the Academy Of Magical Arts and the Magic Castle.
