Terry Godfrey

Godfrey works both halves of an event: close-up magic in the crowd and a comedy show on stage. His walk-around sets move through the room in small groups of 5-7 guests, each given a private mini-show of stunning close-up magic that happens right in their hands — an icebreaker that gets strangers talking and friends laughing together.

His 30-45 minute stage show is packed with comedy, mind reading, and audience participation, pulling the whole room into one experience. One host recalled that his close-up magic during the cocktail hour was the perfect icebreaker, and his stage show brought the house down. The two can be combined into a single evening — mingling magic through cocktails, then the full stand-up set — for corporate events, private parties and special celebrations.
