Stuart Lightbody

A three time winner of the South African Magic Championships, Stuart Lightbody is described as South Africa's most award-winning magician, and has represented his country at the World Magic Championships in Sweden. His festival honours include two "Silver Ovation Awards" and a "Spirit of the Fringe Award" at the South African National Arts Festival, the "Creative Award" at the Prague Fringe Festival, the "Theatre Award" and "Magic and Illusion Award" at the Fringe World Festival, and back to back wins of the "Best Magic Award" at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Stuart tours his theatre shows across three continents, playing arts festivals, theatres on luxury cruise liners, private parties on the island of Capri and corporate shows for Fortune-500 companies. He spends his life pondering, practicing and performing moments that are beautifully impossible, which makes him equally at home at a corporate function or an intimate private event.
