Shawn Farquhar

Two-Time World Champion of Magic

Shawn Farquhar is a close-up magic and comedy magic and corporate events artist based in Vancouver, BC. A FISM World Championship medalist, Shawn Farquhar earned Grand Prix (Close-up) in 2009 (Beijing)—widely celebrated as the Olympic gold of the competitive magic world. Fooling Penn & Teller on national television is a rare triumph; fooling them 2 times puts Shawn Farquhar in an extraordinarily rare circle of inventive masters who have repeatedly baffled the legendary duo. Deeply revered across the craft, further industry distinctions include the International Brotherhood of Magicians Gold Award. Rather than playing to distant balconies in cavernous theatres, Shawn Farquhar created the intimate salon experience Hidden Wonders in Vancouver, BC, welcoming guests to witness masterclass sleight of hand within arm’s reach.
