Richard Burr

A performing member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle since 1980, Richard Burr has been delighting audiences with his magic since he was nine years old. Through Touch of Magic Productions he builds full evenings of live entertainment, from close-up magic to a Grand Illusion Show.

His credits run from headline spots with Celebrity, Holland America, Seabourn, Cunard and Norwegian cruise lines to television appearances including "Monster House" on the Discovery Channel. He has performed privately for Johnny Carson, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, opened for Billy Preston and Alan Thicke, and worked as featured corporate magician for Walt Disney Animation, Toyota and NBC. Recent rooms include the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, the Regent Beverly Wilshire, Universal Studios and the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.
