Professor Phelyx

Part Sherlock Holmes, part classic showman, Professor Phelyx is a veteran comedic mentalist whose laugh-a-minute shows fuse early 20th-century mentalism, comedy, psychology and mystique. Raised by a renowned detective, he learned the art of deduction first-hand, and that same observational precision is what makes his demonstrations so disarming and leaves a room united.

His credits include a 100-show residency at the Stanley Hotel, a 13-year residency at The Clocktower Cabaret, Las Vegas headline runs, and PERCEPTION, Denver's first large-scale immersive theatrical production, presented through The Denver Performing Arts Center; he also served as Leon Redbone's only official support act. Period-precise from the 1920s through the 1960s, he fits Gatsby, Prohibition and Casino Night evenings as easily as corporate galas, whether as feature act or emcee.
