Booking and media brief
Michael Rubinstein
“New York coin magic refined through a lifetime of invention”
Biography
Dr. Michael Rubinstein is an American close-up magician, author and teacher closely associated with modern coin magic. His current creator catalogue spans the Encyclopedia of Coin Sleights, the New York Coin Magic Seminar series, books, lectures, gimmicks and original routines. A new 2026 one-coin course confirms continuing publication and detailed technical work. Rubinstein appeared twice on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, each time presenting coin-centered material. Research supports an active creator profile connected with New York, but not general event-booking availability, a performer-owned site or one verified current city.
