Michael Aslan

A professional entertainer for more than 40 years, Michael Aslan works as a magician in Las Vegas, offering close-up magic, trade shows and hospitality suite entertainment. His interest began at 12, watching a magician at a school assembly, and turned serious in the Navy, where he met two working professionals, Al Lampkin and Lord Jim, in Guam and made his first television appearance there.

Audiences get magic at close quarters and stage work that leans on imagination rather than apparatus: Aslan holds that the true magic lies not in the props or the tricks but in the minds of his audience. Two one-hour shows of his played weekly at a small Las Vegas hotel for over five years, and his repertoire runs from six-and-a-half-minute spots to full hours, fitting corporate events, private parties, trade shows and themed shows.
