Award-winning magician Mark Schaefer works close-up — cards, coins, everyday objects and mentalism — for audiences across the Seattle area and around the United States. He began his career in Phoenix in the mid 90's, building a stage act of doves and illusions with his mentor, Rene, that took him to venues across the Southwest including large performances in Las Vegas, before sleight of hand became his specialty.
His aim is a clean, interactive show where guests feel the magic happened to them rather than watching it happen to somebody else, and the most common feedback is that people return to see him as much as the tricks. He performs at corporate events and banquets, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, fundraisers and private parties.
