Magic Guy

A former news anchor turned comedy magician, Magic Guy (Guy Copland) has been blending laughs and astonishment for audiences of all ages for more than 40 years. He was named best comedian on the shows Make A Star and Big Shot Live, and has warmed up crowds for Disney On Ice and Nickelodeon Live.

From his home base in Berkley, he is one of metro Detroit's most-booked entertainers, with hundreds of school and library shows and more than a thousand private parties behind him. The comedy runs on two levels, so grandparents, parents and kids laugh at the same jokes, while his close-up magic works a room one table at a time. Birthday parties, corporate banquets, holiday parties, festivals and trade shows all suit.
