Luis Otero
“Madrid comedy magician”
Based in Madrid
Biography
One of the best-known magicians in Latin America, Luis Otero built his reputation on a style entirely his own: striking magic wrapped in comedy, a combination that has taken his show around the world.
His performances are made to be interactive. Quick asides, improvisation with whoever happens to be sitting in front of him and, of course, plenty of magic keep every minute of the show alive, so the entertainment belongs to the room rather than to a fixed script. Working from Madrid, Luis Otero takes on corporate shows, close-up magic among the tables, parlour performances and conferences, each one shaped to the occasion and the audience it is built for.
