About Kevin Blake

San Francisco magician and mentalist Kevin Blake has turned astonishment into a residency: his weekly show The Illusionist at the Palace Theater has sold out more than 400 times for over 40,000 guests, playing Wednesday to Saturday plus select Sundays and matinées in North Beach.

His act alchemizes magic, music, comedy and illusion into what has been called a "genre-defying performance", ranging from world class close-up strolling magic to full stage spectacle. On Penn & Teller: Fool Us he brought a spoken word musical magical card trick the pair had never seen before, and on America's Got Talent he came through his audition with a Yes from each judge. With more than 1,000 corporate events worldwide for clients including J.P. Morgan, Google and Deloitte, Kevin Blake is at home at galas, conferences and private celebrations.

What Kevin does

Close-Up Magic

Sleight of hand at conversational distance — cards, coins, and borrowed objects that misbehave in your own palm.

Corporate Events

Professional entertainment shaped for company celebrations, conferences, clients, and teams.

Mentalism

Thoughts named, choices predicted, memories drawn back out. Unnervingly personal, never a stooge in sight.

Parlour Magic

Table-side theatre for a small crowd — storytelling and set-pieces built for an intimate room.

Stage Illusion

Large-scale illusion built for a full house and a bright stage.

Stage Magic

A complete magic show built to play clearly for a seated audience.
