Originally from England and now based in Phoenix and Sedona, Arizona, Jolly Roger (Roger Blakiston) trained as an actor at the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London before taking a job as magician and MC in Lido Di Jesolo, Italy. From there came years of clubs, hotels and cruise ships around the world, a tour of Australia and television appearances in five countries.
In London he became the number one children's entertainer, booked by stars of stage and screen and by royalty, and performing for the young Prince William at seven years old. For a year he was Chuckleberry the Magician for the English hamburger chain Huckleberrys. His magic and comedy now suit birthdays, libraries and school assemblies as readily as trade shows, banquets and company picnics.
