Biography
At 15, John Accardo earned a spot in the Academy of Magical Arts' Junior Program at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, performing in the Castle's Close-Up Gallery and going on to become one of the youngest magicians ever invited to headline an evening show there, at 19.
His act mixes magic, mentalism and steady audience interaction, carried by quick wit, natural charm and an uncanny ability to read the room — theater-style close-up magic that works as well at an intimate private party as it does for cruise-line audiences of up to 1,100 people. A UCLA graduate who learned directly from the legendary Japanese magician Shoot Ogawa, he has performed in over 19 countries, appeared on ABC, Nightline and Comedy Central, and headlined at the Chicago Magic Lounge and the Magic Bar in Encino.
