Biography
Jim Vines is an American magician based in New York City, known for award-winning sleight-of-hand and for co-starring in the family show Broadway Magic Hour.
His close-up work brings the impossible to the dinner table and into guests' own hands, an immersive experience built on what one client called "flawless technique and a mysterious charm." For medium-sized rooms of 15 to 45 people, his parlor show is full of audience participation and shaped to the space and the occasion, while his stage magic offers grand illusions and mysteries that read from any seat in the theater, including levitations and a sawing in half. Vines has brought his magic to private parties and events aboard the World Yacht Princess, where guests were astonished by close-up magic they took part in themselves.
