Jim the Magician

Jim the Magician is a professional full-time close-up, sleight-of-hand magician in Edinburgh, and for over ten years the Resident Close-Up Magician at the Pleasance Courtyard during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he works around the tables every August.

His strolling magic weaves card work, mind reading and everyday objects — rings, Lego, chocolate bars — into moments that happen inches from the guests, for audiences of as few as two to over 200. He has appeared on BBC One, and has entertained for EY, Royal Bank of Scotland, J.P. Morgan, PWC, Deloitte and the Scottish Whisky Association. The same intimate, interactive close-up magic suits weddings, corporate events, birthdays, dinners and Christmas parties throughout Scotland and beyond.
