Close-up magician, street performer, cocktail creator and writer Jacob Grier specializes in entertaining intimate groups with professional sleight of hand magic, and has become a fixture at Portland events such as Last Thursday on Alberta and First Thursday in the Pearl District.
Working strolling and table magic, Jacob breaks the ice and keeps guests entertained at festivals, cocktail parties, corporate events, company gatherings and tradeshows. He is also known in the cocktail community for work at acclaimed Portland bars including The Multnomah Whiskey Library, Expatriate and Wayfinder Beer, the author of several books, most recently Raising the Bar: A Bottle-by-Bottle Guide to Mixing Masterful Cocktails at Home, and has lectured at bar events around the world.
