Ian Saville

Award-winning magician Ian Saville is the world's leading performer of socialist magic tricks — and may well be the only one, having kept at it for more than 40 years. His cabaret act is a funny, magical, thought-provoking and topical celebration of Socialism, aimed at the ambitious goal of making International Capitalism and exploitation disappear.

His honours include The Brighton Fringe Review Award, The Tapwater Award and a Time Out Theatre Award, and he has played picket lines, benefits and labour movement conferences alongside comedy clubs, arts centres, universities, the National Theatre and the Albert Hall. Full-length shows include Brecht on Magic and The Free Money Magic Show, plus Look at it This Way with singer Leon Rosselson, and he also performs shows for children.
