Guy Cater

Guy Cater is one of New Zealand’s most celebrated veteran entertainers, with a performing career spanning more than four decades across magic, comedy, and stage hypnotism. Awarded the Grand Master of Magic by the Brotherhood of Auckland Magicians—the highest honor in New Zealand conjuring—Cater is also a recipient of the prestigious Golden Benny Award from the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand and an inductee into both its Hall of Fame and the New Zealand Walk of Fame.

Based in Howick, Auckland, Cater was the first New Zealand hypnotist to headline in Las Vegas and has toured extensively throughout the South Pacific, UAE, and Singapore, delivering riotous interactive comedy hypnosis and classic magic for corporate functions, sporting clubs, and festivals.
