Glenn Mc Meeking

Escape artist and magician Glendini takes his stage name from Harry Houdini, and many of the escapes in his act were invented and performed by Houdini himself. Audience members do the securing — handcuffs, crates, straight-jackets — then watch him work free, sometimes within seconds. His escape show travels from devices used in the early 1800s right up to the present day.

Invited to perform for staff at Pollsmoor Correctional Prison, he was locked in regulation handcuffs with stickers over the keyholes and was out in under 60 seconds. Glendini also specialises in children's magic, with hundreds of parties behind him, 30- and 45-minute shows, and a magic teaching show for ages nine and up.
