Eric Chien
“World-champion visual card magic and precise close-up artistry”
Based in Taipei
Biography
Eric Chien is a Taiwanese-American close-up magician and creator known for highly visual card manipulation and carefully constructed color-changing routines. He won the 2018 FISM Close-Up Grand Prix, later won Asia’s Got Talent and fooled Penn & Teller. Official 2025 FISM results confirm continued championship participation for Taiwan, while a current agency profile offers event and appearance enquiries. The evidence supports an active international profile, but no dependable performer-owned website, direct booking contact or explicit present home city was found, so those operational fields remain limited.
