Monday Night Magic has run in New York since 1997, with a different line-up of magicians most weeks. Its Monday-night show, Close-Up & In-Person, plays Monte's Trattoria on MacDougal Street, and its Holiday Series of stage shows plays The Cutting Room on selected Mondays. Before that it moved between Off-Broadway houses, among them the SoHo Playhouse, the Theatre at St. Clement's, the Bleecker Street Theatre and, for most of the years from 2011 to 2023, The Players Theatre.
