Biography
A magic consultant on productions featuring Dynamo, Criss Angel, Penn & Teller's Fool Us and America's Got Talent, Bro Gilbert brings that behind-the-scenes technical mastery into the room as a Vancouver, BC-based corporate magician and mentalist with over 30 years of live performance experience and thousands of shows across North America.
His speciality is the psychology of surprise: sleight-of-hand and mentalism used to break down barriers between people and spark genuine conversation. Royal Bank of Canada, Fountain Tire and Demonware are among his clients, and he performs regularly at galas, holiday parties, awards nights, product launches, executive retreats and conferences, from a cocktail reception for 80 guests to a conference stage show for 1,000. Bro is also the founder of The Astonishment Academy, a leadership and training company.
