Bill Martin is a close-up magician and mentalist based in Chicago, Illinois, known for card magic and visual sleight of hand.
Known as The Perceptionist, Bill Martin performs close-up magic and mentalism born from perception, belief, and influence. This is not about grand illusions; it is about small, perfect impossibilities that happen up close, inches from the people watching.
Guests end up inside the mystery, in an interactive experience that invites them to question their own perception and gives a room a natural reason to connect. Based in Chicago, performing nationwide, Bill shapes each booking around the event, from strolling close-up magic to stage mentalism or a featured stand-up performance. The work suits corporate events, wedding cocktail hours, milestone parties, private dinners and receptions; the Bloomfield Club Recreation Association booked his "Mix & Mingle" performance for around 100 community guests.
