Bao Hoang turned professional at fifteen, and his magic and mentalism have since played to audiences for L'Oréal, Red Bull, McLaren, Cadillac and Amazon, as well as RBC galas. YouTube Canada named him a "Creator on the Rise".
Skilled sleight of hand, psychological illusions and a touch of comedy make Bao's work thoroughly interactive: guests are drawn into the effects and, just as often, into conversation with each other, which makes his close-up work a natural icebreaker at gatherings where people are meeting for the first time. Away from performing, he is the founder of BaoBao Restaurant Playing Cards, a range of Asian food-themed decks. Based in Montreal, Bao performs at corporate events, weddings and private parties.
