Allan Ackerman

Allan Ackerman is a Las Vegas-based sleight-of-hand artist, entertainer and educator whose close-up work turns cards, coins and everyday objects into small miracles. At 18 he began studying under Ed Marlo, considered by many magicians the greatest sleight-of-hand artist with cards, and he has been creating ever since.

The creator of over 250 magical effects and the author of four books and more than twenty DVDs, Allan has performed in the U.S.A., Mexico, England, France, Italy and Germany, worked with the U.S.O., entertained on the Las Vegas strip and given over 300 shows at the famed Hollywood Magic Castle. He also spent 34 years teaching mathematics and computer science at UNLV and the College of Southern Nevada.
