Magic runs in Alexandra Duvivier's family — her father is Dominique Duvivier — and she is as interested in people as she is in sleight of hand. Magic holds a leading place in her shows, she says, but loving people and giving them a good time is a very strong driving force.
That approach has carried her a long way: David Copperfield invited her personally for a private visit in Las Vegas, two programmes on France Inter were devoted to her and her fellow magicians, and the team at Magic Dream sat her down for an interview. She also welcomes visitors to the Double Fond, whose magic school awards a state-recognised two-year diploma, a first of its kind. Her blend of astonishment and generosity suits galas, receptions and private celebrations alike.
