Alex Kouvatas

Alex Kouvatas is a five-time Edinburgh Fringe Festival magician with 14 years' experience, specialising in children's shows, weddings, cabaret and events. He debuted his first show, Alex is Magic, at the Pancretan Street Art Festival in 2019, then made his Fringe debut with the PBH Free Fringe Charity in 2021, returning each year with two shows: one for adults and one for children.

His magic ranges from high-energy moments that captivate children to a more sophisticated touch for adult cabaret, and WMR.com praised his "humour, charm with his audience, and in bringing his own take to his magic". In March 2026 he takes an all-new children's show to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival at The Calabash African Bar Restaurant. Based in Edinburgh, he travels widely for weddings, celebrations and events.
