AlakaSam

With more than 50 years of experience, AlakaSam blends comedy magic, balloon sculpture and hands-on science into shows for children and adults. Tricks with silks, cards, rope and money amaze and amuse, while guests are led in making observations and predictions before the secrets are revealed through science understanding.

Sam Chamberlain began studying magic at ten and spent five years as an apprentice at Howard's House of Hocus Pocus in Buffalo, New York. He has worked as an educator for more than 40 years, 24 of them as Lead Teacher with the Pacific Science Center's Science On Wheels program. A member of the Society of American Magicians, he has performed for Starbucks, Microsoft, the City of Seattle, the Ballard Seafood Festival and countless private parties across the Puget Sound Region.
